Responsibilities:

Perform biometric testing to include sample collection using PTS Diagnostics Cardio Chek® and/or Alere Cholestech LDX® Technology finger-stick technique, blood pressure, body mass index, body fat, bone density, spirometry
– Provide health education to participants
– Assist, when required, with the transportation of medical instruments and supplies to and from screening events
– Facilitate effective communication between Impact Health and the customer
– Function as a team player to ensure the success of assigned programs
– Perform other related duties as needed
– Medical background preferred, but not required
– Understanding of light medical terminology and disease risk factors
– Good interpersonal communication skills
– Responsible, highly-motivated, strong work ethic
– Problem-solving initiative
– Professional appearance (must adhere to company dress code)
– Must be able to travel using own vehicle
– Must complete Impact Health, OSHA and HIPAA training

Requirements

– Minimum of 2 years previous experience working corporate wellness events required.
– Degree in health related field including but not limited to: Nursing, Exercise Physiology, Public Health, etc.
– Medical background preferred.
– Understanding of light medical terminology and disease risk factors.
– Good interpersonal communication skills.
– Responsible, highly motivated , strong work ethic.
– Professional appearance ( must adhere to company dress code including lab coat).
– Must be able to travel using own vehicle.
– Must complete Impact Health, OSHA and HIPAA training.

Compensation:
– Hourly compensation
– Travel reimbursement (if applicable)
– Paid training

Physical demands:

Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time
Some bending and lifting (up to 30 pounds)

Reports to:
Impact Health Program Manager and/or the Team Lead

Responsibilities:
– Complete Impact Health and OSHA training.
– Perform biometric testing to include finger sticking using the PTS Diagnostics Cardio Chek® and/or  Alere Cholestech LDX® analyzer, blood pressure, body mass index, etc.
– Provide basic health education to participants.
– Assist with the setup of supplies and instruments at programs.
– Facilitate effective communication with the participants, customer personnel and team.
– Interact internally with staffing, supply and distribution, and accounting departments.
– Function as a team player to ensure the success of assigned programs.
– Perform other related duties as needed.

Compensation and Benefits:

– Salary (to be determined based on qualifications)
– Performance Bonus
– Medical and Dental Benefits (after 90 days)
– Daily per diem provided for food/room and board.

Estimated Schedule:
This tour will require:

Up to 50 hours per week, including screenings, administrative duties and travel time.
There will be periodic breaks designated throughout the year.

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Pre-Med, Exercise Science or Exercise Physiology or Health Care.
– Two years of medical/clinical testing or screening experience.
– Basic knowledge of cardiovascular health issues, such as hypertension, cholesterol levels, etc.
– Proficient in using computers and learning new software quickly.
– Medical devices to be used include:
– Alere Cholestech LDX® Analyzer.
– PTS Diagnostics Cardio Chek®
– Manual blood pressure cuff and Omron automatic blood pressure cuff.
– Omron body fat analyzer.

Additional Qualifications a Plus:

– California Licensed RN/LPN, California Certified or Registered Phlebotomist.
– Bi-lingual in Spanish.
– Previous tour experience.

Physical demands:

Extended periods of standing, sitting, walking.
Bending and lifting – up to 30 lbs – required.
