PCR Tests
PCR Tests
The PCR test is a nasal or oral swab sample that is sent to a lab to determine results. After receiving the sample, the lab returns results in 24-48 hours. The lab tests for the presence of the virus’ genetic material (ORF1ag, S, and N SARS-CoV-2) and determines if the subject currently has the COVID-19 infection.

Antibody Tests
Antibody Tests
The antibody test is a venous blood draw that is sent to a lab to determine results. After receiving the sample, the lab returns results in 24-48 hours. The lab tests for the presence of COVID-19 antibodies (IgM and IgG) and can determine if the subject has had the COVID-19 infection.
Impact Health can provide trained and certified nurses with either the PCR or the antibody test kit, PPE, and all supplies to administer the tests. After obtaining the sample, it is sent to a lab. There is also a Nurse Services option to supervise employee testing. The nurses arrive with PPE and provide professional, trained, and certified staff to client-run testing.
Temperature Screening
Temperature Screening
Temperature Screening
Impact Health helps employers get their people back to work with our Temperature Screening Service which can be an early indicator of COVID-19 virus in people. Enlist this service to convey to your workers that their employer is concerned for their safety and well-being.
The service is targeted for large employers, like Fortune 1000 companies, federal, state, and local governments, hospitals, and first-responders. These employers may be able to reduce their risk by identifying employees running a temperature and potentially infecting co-workers.

Impact Health’s staff of nationwide nurses and technicians can set up a temperature checkpoint using Infrared Thermometers for safe, efficient, and no-contact operation adjacent to centralized entry points.
For workers presenting with an above-normal temperature, employers may choose to implement an added layer of screening – blood oxygen levels – another potential predictor of a COVID-19 infection. The service is configurable, empowering employers to determine thresholds and decisions to meet their requirements.
Flattening the Curve
Flattening the Curve
FLATTEN YOUR CURVE
With misinformation about COVID-19 causing people to flood your emergency department, hospitals may soon fall victim to the “High Curve” ¹ – a swift and overwhelming Tsunami of patients in the ED that can overrun staff, put stress on limited equipment, and deplete scarce PPE even more. This makes it much more difficult to care for the normal population of patients.

Nurses are stretched thin administering drive-up patients, as well as staff testing
Some staff is reluctant through no fault of the nurses to being tested by a co-worker
Nurses are pulled away from providing high-value patient care
Nurses that test positive for COVID-19 and/or are quarantined puts pressure on patient-to-nurse ratios
Nurses are working long hours and extra shifts eventually causing burnout
Additional costs incurred by riding the high curve

There are many potential positive outcomes that can be achieved by working with the Impact Health COVID-19 Rapid Response Nurse Service. Coordinating closely with hospital staff, the service frees up nurses at a time when they are being taxed at extremely high levels.
Additionally, it keeps testing results private, relieves overtime shifts, keeps hospital nurses focused on high-level care, and eases stress. Finally, it can keep costs predictable and lower as well.
