Impact Health Provides Two COVID-19 Tests
to Help Employees Return to Work Safely

COVID-19 Test

First, the PCR test is a nasal or oral swab sample that is sent to a lab to determine results. After receiving the sample, the lab returns results in 24-48 hours. The lab tests for presence of the virus’ genetic material (ORF1ag, S, and N SARS-CoV-2) and determines if the subject currently has the COVID-19 infection.

Next, the antibody test is a venous blood draw that is sent to a lab to determine results. After receiving the sample, the lab returns results in 24-48 hours. The lab tests for the presence of COVID-19 antibodies (IgM and IgG) and can determine if the subject has had the COVID-19 infection.

Both tests have received Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) from the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA).

Impact Health can provide trained and certified nurses with either the PCR or the antibody test kit, PPE, and all supplies to administer the tests. After obtaining the sample, it is sent to a lab. There is also a Nurse Services option to supervise employee testing. The nurses arrive with PPE and provide professional, trained and certified staff to client-run testing.

Impact Health has performed millions of biometric screenings and immunizations since 1987 across all fifty states. The firm has also created several quality standards in use throughout the industry today.
