Impact Health uses several methods to ensure that staff arrives when they are scheduled to arrive. We confirm shifts, hours, locations, and other important information multiple times via email, text, and phone.
We also realize that no matter how often we confirm, children get sick, cars break down, and other situations occur that prevent someone from coming to work. We mitigate this risk with “on-call” staff who are paid to be ready (up to an hour after the start of a scheduled shift) to go an assignment within 30-60 minutes of being called. This helps ensure that our engagements are fully staffed.
